FDH Bank has a robust CSR portfolio targeted at supporting socio-economic growth focusing on enabling sectors of health and education. Among notable CSR projects implemented FDH Bank, we have the ongoing scholarship sponsorships at UNIMA and MUST that caters for 26 students, the refurbished and ongoing support of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Cancer HDU, the re-equipped and refurbished Makwasa Paediatric HDU Unit, the Flood Relief efforts this year in four districts, the Mayor’s Trophy sponsorships in the main cities and the house built for Marietta Samuel, a domestic violence victim from Dowa and the continued support rendered to her. FDH Bank is also a proud sponsor of the Netball Association of Malawi and the Netball team ‘The Queens’ as well as the Football Association of Malawi and the Football team ‘The Flames’.

FDH Bank sponsored students from Malawi University of Science and Technology, Polytechnic and Chancellor College during an engagement with FDH Bank Management and Staff at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre.

FDH Bank has unveiled a fully refurbished and furnished Paediatric Intensive Care Ward at Malamulo Adventist Hospital in Makwasa, Thyolo.

The ward, worth MWK15million, is complete with essential equipment including two oxygen concentrators, suction machine, monitor, ventilator and eight beds.

FDH is committed to supporting  sports development through the support of the Mayors Trophies throughout the country. Currently, FDH supports the Mzuzu Mayors’ Trophy the Zomba Mayors’ Trophy and  The Lilongwe Mayors’ Trophy and the Blantyre Mayors’ trophy. FDH Bank and Football Association of Malawi (FAM) have also signed a five year cup sponsorship deal worth K450 million.

FDH Bank takes keen interest in the welfare of Malawians through various initiatives especially in areas of health, education and youth development. Recently, FDH Bank has  handed over a K14 million house to Marieta Samuel, a Dowa woman who had her hands chopped off by her abusive husband in 2006.
