FDH Bank last week conducted the first draw of the Osafinyika Promotion which seeks to encourage customers to use the bank’s digital platforms as one way of preventing the coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

During the draw, 63 lucky customers walked away with different prizes, ranging from bluetooth speakers, Itel A16 phones, powerbanks, branded T-shirts and cash.

Speaking in Blantyre after conducting the first draw, FDH marketing manager Ronald Chimchere said more customers transacted using digital platforms.

He said: “We have seen a number of customers transacting on WhatsApp Banking, FDH Mobile, FDH Wallet, One Click and Ufulu Digital Account which is also encouraging social distancing as people do not have to visit banking halls and other service providers physically.

“We are all aware of the Covid-19 pandemic’s global impact and how it is affecting the way people live their day to day lives and conduct business. We urge all our customers to remember to stay safe and continuously practise good hygiene.”

To enter the promotion which runs from April 2 to July 2 2020 and has Mazda Demio as a grand prize, customers need to transact at least four times in a month through bill payments, funds transfers, airtime top-ups and cashless withdraws.
