| FDH Bank has partnered with the Malawi Blood Transfusion Service (MBTS) in a fundraising and awareness campaign to ensure the provision of safe and adequate blood supplies to all patients in need of the blood transfusion.
The Bank sponsored MBTS with a contribution of K500 000 as a first step to helping alleviate most challenges faced by medical institutions and people within Malawi due to inadequate blood supplies.
The awareness campaign that the Malawi Blood Transfusion Service has undertaken is indeed a noble cause as they endeavour to advocate for all individuals in dire need of blood and also as they strive to provide information, education and communication to all those affected in various ways.Click here to read more |

| FDH Bank has called on Economics Association of Malawi (ECAMA) to aggressively play its role in the Malawian society as it undergoes various economic reforms when the Bank presented a K500,000.00 cheque to ECAMA for its corporate membership as well as to assist in the running of its activities.
FDH Bank eagerly await the activities that shall be organized by ECAMA in ensuring that the economy emerges stronger from the various economic challenges we currently face today. | Malawi’s celebrated fashion designer Lilly Alfonso becomes the first fashion designer to get a celebrity endorsement after FDH Bank appointed her as an official Bank Ambassador.
“I am humble with the trust FDH has shown in me to make me their brand ambassador out of equally good designers in the country. This support will push me to greater heights as I and others strive to take Malawi on the international designing map. The good thing is the agreement both benefits me and the bank,” she said.
FDH Bank recognized Alfonso is a fashion designer who has evolved over a number of years to come up with one of the top fashion labels in Malawi, LA Designs, born out of pure passion and determination. Despite the low level of development in Malawi Fashion industry, Lilly moved against the tide and gained international recognition for her designs, attending international fashion shows and has been interviewed by international fashion media houses, including BBC.
