One person won MK500,000, five went home with MK100,000 each, 10 won MK50,000 each while 20 others walked away with t-shirts.
Speaking on the sidelines of the draw, FDH Head of Personal and Business Banking, Kawawa Msapato, said the promotion was initiated to reconnect with customers whose bank accounts have been dormant.
“The promotion was rolled out for the bank to re-establish its relationship with old customers whose accounts were dormant for a considerable period and the response has been overwhelming,” he said.
Msapato further said the bank would continuously work to reach the unbanked masses and introduce innovative products on the market.
“We have a presence in remote areas where other service providers are not present. We take the issue of financial inclusion seriously and will continue to expand our footprint to ensure that more people have access to financial services,” he said.
Kuphukira ndi FDH was launched in October and the grand draw is expected to be held during the first week of January where a lucky customer will walk away with MK2 million.
To enter the promotion, customers are required to either reactive their accounts with a minimum of MK25,000 or deposit MK50.000 and maintain the balance during the duration of the promotion.
