FDH Bank now Airtel Money super agent

Airtel Money merchants and agents will no longer have to travel long distances to buy e-value for their businesses courtesy of FDH Bank which has been appointed as the Airtel Money Super Agent.

Speaking at the launch in Blantyre last week, Airtel Money acting country director Chris Sukasuka said Airtel Money agents will now buy e-value for their businesses at any FDH Bank branch by simply depositing their cash which will be converted to e-value and instantly sent to their agent’s number.
He observed that previously Airtel Money agents would deposit the money in FDH Bank accounts and send the deposite slip to Airtel for their accounts to be credited instantly when they deposit through FDH bank.
Said Sukasuka: “Our aim is to make life easier and enrich our customers’ banking experience by enabling them to access their accounts anywhere in the country. Customers’ preferences are rapidly changing and technology is transforming the way these preferences are met.”
FDH Bank managing director Eric Ouattara said because of the partnership with Airtel Malawi, the bank has brought various innovative solutions to its customers.
“Using Airtel Money, our customers have been able to move money from their bank accounts to their Airtel Money wallets and vice-versa. As FDH Bank, here is where we provide the best solution for Airtel Money agents.
“We have a wide branch network with at least 59 brick and mortar outlets nationwide. We also have an ATM network with 91 ATMs nationwide,” he said.
