In his remaks, the guest of honour reiterated on the need for commercial banks in the country to strive for the achievement of first class banking solutions.

FDH board chairman Dr Eric Sankhulani said that FDH Bank decided to open a branch in Nchalo because of various small businesses from the SME sector which has been the bank’s back bone of growth over the past six (6) years.
“We would like to support the small businesses that are operating here with our various transactional banking products and services but also support their financing requirements through our specialized loan offering for the SME sector,” said Sankhulani.
The Managing Director for FDH Bank, Mr. Phillip Madinga, indicated that the purpose as a bank goes beyond financial services which have an aim of making a real difference for bank’s shareholders, customers, staff and most importantly the communities in which the bank operates.
In an effort of addressing some of the healthcare concerns faced by the surrounding communities, FDH Bank made a donation of assorted medical equipment to St Montfort Hospital’s Pediatric section totaling MK1.5 million.
